NEW: Colorín Colorado

There’s a sign at the state line that welcomes you to Colorado.

Somewhere along the way we noticed the sign was translating a word that was already Spanish. Colorado. Named for the red in the river, hiding in plain sight the whole time.

So we made our own. The state turns 150 this year, and we’re showing up to the party in the language its name came from.

De Aquí Somos

Every detail on this design tells a story. Two eagles, two homes, and the details that connect them.

About MexCO

We exist for the ones who already know Colorado is a Spanish word. For the brown-skinned, the bilingual, and the ones with roots that go back way further than those who call themselves “natives”.
